I am trying to figure out what makes life longer and more worth living. I think a lot about how to preserve the fragile things that shape a life - memories, health, family, and, as it turns out, organs too. This desire has shaped my trajectory; I studied neuroscience in Edinburgh and researched methods to stop neurodegeneration in progressive multiple sclerosis. I fell in love with filmmaking, and attempting to capture fleeting moments before they dissapear. I now live in California, where I help develop medical hibernation technology to pause biological time.
Fundamentally, I refuse to let things vanish to easily; whether it’s a brain cell under a microscope, the memory of a roadtrip, or a person’s chance at a longer life.
